I just don't know if I can vote for McCain. For the first time I really don't care who wins. Although I see Obama as a bad choice, maby that is what this country needs to wake the hell up. McCain, although better in my opinion, he won't bring any real change and it will be more of the same. Obama I feel will cause real change, but not how he or his supporters might intend. The fact is that Obama can not even come close to meeting any of his promises. Balancing the budget while increasing spending while cutting taxes, while increasing taxes on buisness, while bringing in more jobs, while getting us independent of forien energy without nuclear or drilling...... it just doesn't make sense. McCain is just more realistic. I have listened to black talk radio, they think if Obama gets the presidency they will have it made, they describe it as "a great oppertunity" but the black community doesn't take all the oppertunities they have now. They have borderline even said that it is white people's turn to be oppressed. Guess what, the weak can not overpower the strong unless the strong lets them, and I think when push comes to shove, while trying to knock the white man off the horse they will only end up falling under the hooves and getting trampled. I belive there are many innocent people that will end up getting hurt over this, but maby it's what we need.
Back in early Spring, I would have said that I might not even go vote because I couldn't in good faith vote either of these men into office. Having learned what Obama is about, though, I'll do whatever it takes to keep him out of office.
Don't fall for the mCcain is the same as bush crap or that 90 percent of the time he votes with bush.. Most senators have voted with the president a high percentage of the time since a lot of those votes are on minor things and routine stuff.. It's whats in that 10 percent that matters.. BTW do you think voting for a extreme liberal like obama is a possitive change? who has life long associations and friendships with extremist dating back to his teenage years all the way through his adult life.. Including rev. wright a known racist extremist who MARRIED HIM AND HIS WIFE AND BAPTIZED HIS KIDS Would you as a teen call a KNOWN MEMBER OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY OF AMERICA a father figure.. and then 13 years latter when you are running for president try to hide it from the american people by removing it from your book? BTW he wrote that in 1995, a known racist communist was his father figure Would you as a adult attend a racist radical extreme church for 30 years? Would you associate with a known domestic terrorist and accept his fund raising and help to get your political career off the ground? All I know is I don't hang around with domestic enemies of the united states.. I would not not want to even talk to people of that mindset, they make me sick.. So why don't they make obama sick?? Because he is one of them... And the stupid sheep are going to line up in record numbers to vote for him I am not a big fan of McCain BUT at least I can say he is not a domestic enemy of this country.
And I could say in regards to McCain "And the stupid sheep are gonna line up and vote for him" as well. Its all in how you view things, which is why we get to individually choose whom we vote for. I'm curious, if Obama is elected, what will you do?
What I am talking about it Obama might be able to push our country into the second revolution, which is what our nations needs. Our ancestors revolted against the british for less. Our nation is ruled by lobbiest and special interest, the politicians do not represent us at all. Our nations stands today for everything the founding fathers were against. I just believe the true colors of the "black community" will come out if Obama is elected because they will be confident that they "won" something. Why do whites sympathise for the "oppressed minorities" that HATE them. Listen to black talk radio and see if you can listen for a hour and tell me how you feel. See.... they will start comming mainstream and shoving in people's faces, which will cause a backlash. That backlash is what I am waiting for.
I see where your coming from, and before I give you my opinion, I am white. I think we need to remember that there are safety measures in place when it comes to Government and a Presidents ability to push things through. The Presidents changes need to first be reviewed/approved by congress. So its not an all out free for all. Also, I think that this day in age, a race, any race, would have a hard time becoming the dominant, "preferred" race among races, and that the rest of us would be eating crow. In the distant future, who knows? Maybe we'll all be slaves of some alien race. If Obama became president, I don't think that blacks or any race would all of a sudden get a bunch of "get out of jail free" cards and take over everything. Touching on your first paragraph. I feel that we, the people, really do need to stand up and say we aren't standing for all the BS that is going on anymore in Government. We seem to be a country where we have accepted to just "accept" the way things are and not say "wait a minute here". I think we really need to start doing that. Perfect example is all the BS going on in Wall Street with the "Golden Parachutes" and gross disregard for honest business practices.
Are you forgetting the majority in congress is Democratic? Obama's going to have 100 percent free reign if he wins.
I'm not talking about a race war. Although I think it might spark it, kind of like the civil war, it wasn't about it but it was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back. McCain will hold down the fort and it will be more of the same I believe, but I don't think Obama can hold control, and with the help of the democrat run senate and house, they might just get bold and try to pull some stuff that will **** people to the breaking point. I could just imagine Polsi and Obama smiling as they announce new gun control bills, tax increases, and programs for the worthless and telling us "that is how it is, we are the authority". I think when the ball gets rolling, it won't be stoppable, and I see the US as a possibly much different nation in the future. We need to go back to the way of thinking that was lost when the "sexual revolution" hippies came to be, we need the WWII attitude.
Man that would be awesome to have that... Seems like socioeconomic policies all revolved around "let's get it done" attitudes...
I think we had em back then, but, apparently, they had more pressing matters on their hands back then. Minus a war, I wish we could get them preoccupied with more important matters today.
What can I do??? Just have to ride it out and I think when he gets in the people surrounding him will keep him in check this guy being able to win the presidency with so much evidence of extreme anti american beliefs amazes me... I knew the coasts were out of control but I hoped the heartland would see right through obama... I was wrong LOL WW2 attitude... thats been gone for a long time... We could not fight ww2 today.. Our own troops, sailors and airmen would be brought up on war crimes. My dad served in WW2 for the whole war I could tell you some stories you would not see in books or on the history channel
It's hard for me to fathom the country getting back on track with the values and morality people used to have.
This, I believe, is what has become America's problem. "let's ride it out" Which is exactly what we do. Then when election comes around we crumble. Thems dems have done it less than the republicans and that's why they win. Not because they're right, necessarily, but because the American people want someone in government that WON'T GIVE UP under pressure. Reps are great at that with foreign policy, but at home they suck as of late. Socioeconomic issues get crammed down republicans throats, because they are too afraid to lose on principle. Don't give up hope so quickly. That's what they want you to do. That's how they win. Enough doom and gloom and repetition and people tend to give up... We can't afford to give up anymore.
This is the same thing I would have to do if McCain wins. Hope that the people advising him keep him in check, do what is best for America, and not just follow in Bush's foot steps. Contrary to what people might think of "where I stand", if McCain wins, I hope he does a hell of a job and can help turn things around. I just happen to think the other candidate is a better choice. So were not all that different. All we can do is cast our vote and "see who wins".
The problem is a large percentage of our population is now fooled by the socialist media and the next generation are being brought up to be good little communists by our public school system right now with our tax dollars then they will go on to collage and have communist professors fill their heads with white guilt and how evil capitalism is even in 4 years if every democrat is thrown out of office and all repubs take office the same crap will continue The problem is american people WANT socialism.. We have been a mixed economy and society for awhile but now the scale has tipped toward socialism.. What was started by the new deal in the 1930's is now in it's endgame I am starting to realize while I am writing in here that none of this matters. no matter who wins, the only thing will be different is the speed of the change to a full welfare state. slightly slower with McCain a little faster with obama.. Just the fact that Obama can be a serious candidate answers my questions about the future of this country to me..
what i see is that right now the american people are mad at the republicans for some reason, likely the democrats successfully putting the responsibility of the past couple of years squarely on the republicans shoulders. how could they do this you ask? because the average american doesnt follow what is going on in government, and they dont listen to both sides of the story when something big breaks. as long as they have a job that pays the bills, and lets them buy the things they want, they are contec to be fat dumb and happy regardless of who is in office, ot who controls congress. it is when things get screwed up like they are now that the average person gets involves, but then they take the lazy way out and just listen to what ever news channel that they have always listened to. what i see happening though if obama wins the white house, and the democrats get a super majority in congress is tha the democrats are going to screw things up even more by trying to "fix" things, and in two years, the democrats will lose the house to the republicans again, and they will lose serious ground in the senate as well, perhaps even lose the leadership in the senate. the from 2010 to 2012, obama will do his level best to blame the republicans for everything going wrong, and taking credit for everything going right, but a shrewd republican like carl rove will manage a coordinated campaign that is hard hitting, and we will have conservatives back in power in 2012. the only proble though will be that the senate is where judges are confirmed, and obama will likely have to replace two supreme court judges, perhaps three, and that is the big problem.
