i got a sick 306 bottle fed 1/8th mile car in my garage

    but its not mine...it was supposed to hail so i let my buddy park it in my garage...i got pics but the only way to get them online is to send them to someone's phone...

    anyone want to help?....it will run an 1/8th in 6 seconds...200 shot off the line and 400 half way...:jaw:

    Is the car carb'd or FI? What's it trap in the 1/8th?

    its carb'd...runs an 1/8th in 6's...spray's a 200 shot off the line and a 400 shot midway...

    dont know the mph on it, 6 seconds is pretty fast, i doubt he's paying attention to the speedo...

    If he's a real racer, he is. Speedo will tell you a lot of things.

    i'll find out more when the weather cears up...he's running high 6's on motor...

    the tranny is a 3 speed with one of those wacky reverse shifters where 1 is on top, it goes 1-2-3- with 3 being on bottom...and its kinda sticky going back up to 1,N,P,R....we think its the linkage but we may just try a new shifter....

    but it may not look like much but its a monster

    they dont run by speed here at this track...George Rays(3rd oldest 1/8th mile strip in the country)...everything is done by time...its old as dirt but its alot of fun...i havent made it out to Newport or Dyersberg yet...

    Well we understand its done by time, but mph is usually right there on the timeslip at least.

    i havent seen a timeslip there yet and i have been going for 3 good years...

    jaja, I remember seeing that strip on TV. It was funny as hell because it the strip in Mexico looks better. (sorry)
