Welcome back. I'm on here a lot less too now.
I did the college thing too. Granted I didn't go to Stanford, but I was pretty happy with my performance and graduating GPA. My school is known for its business programs (my field of study) and kind of notorious for being a big party school on the East coast. But, I can say that I took no part in giving it that reputation at least.
Hey man! Yea the name used to mean more to me, but it's really about how you fit within the school and how you can hustle your way into anything past college. I studied engineering and ended up in corporate finance, but I have coworkers in a m&a practice I work for now that majored in poli sci, etc. -_______- major didn't matter, just strong analytical skill and willingness to work the hours with a little touch of actual finance.
I hear you on the party scene, we have none lol too much coursework to complete, didn't really let loose until my last 3 months there. Not to say I didn't have my fair share of wake-up-in-a-parking-lot type of nights, but I definitely didn't rage as hard as my friends who went to, say, the UofA in Tucson
