The ones you just got from SPeed Concepts? Are you going to get them powder coated so they dont rust?

Thats a very sweet break kit. I want to get something like that for next yr. W/ the more power Ive been giving the car I need a way to stop it as well.

Oh yeah what size are the rotors. I assume there 13"

    Thanks for this post!

I already knew my brakes were shot and I went to Midas today specifically to see how much they would try to ream me. They quoted me $415 just to replace the front rotors and pads and to flush/replace the brake fluid.

I'll be getting that front cobra kit from Speed Concepts because that's the best price I've seen recently. But I'm leery about trying to install it myself. I really want to, but I've never done anything like that before. Can a novice pull it off?

Yeah it is easy. I just ran into the problem of the rotors being rusted on there. I have beat them with the biggest f-ing hammer i have. Once the rotors are off it will be a piece of cake for me. I will also install the M/C i got from baer.

    I'll post pics later.
