    Hey all,

I don't know how much more of this crap I can take. It is really irritating me. I have had my 'stang in for repair 6 times because the passenger airbag light keeps coming on at random times...it even acted up on a test drive with the advisor.

They have replaced and recalibrated the seat sensor and said they got a code 1 time but he couldn't tell me which one...I am about to contact an attourney because I am tired of driving around a 2005 car in which the airbags may or may not be functioning...

What can I do short of legal action...I don't even know what kind of legal legs I have if it came to that

the lemon law is if it goes in 3 times for the same thing, its a lemon. look it up online, print it off, bring it in, and get a new car.

the one above the radio will turn on and off if there is a person sitting improperly in the seat, or if you have "stuff" on the seat. i dont know about the dash lamp, that is usually a malfunction indicator. of it does not stay on, its hard to troubleshoot.

if there was no person or items on the passenger seat during the occurrences, then i would try to get a new car under the lemon law.

i just bought me a new 06 gt last weekend, and mine is doing the same thing. my girlfreind pointed it out to me the other day while we were driving and i have noticed it since then without anyone even in the car. kinda worried about it now =/ its the pass airbag light above the radio that is doing it.

Yeah, I say use the lemon law. After more than twice the alloted times to repair the vehicle, the dealer needs to step up and replace it. The lemon law was enacted to protect consumers against just this type of situation. I know that I love my wife/kids and that if I ever had any doubts about their safety I would correct the problem. Even if you EVER get this vehicle "fixed", will you trust it with their lives?

I started the Dispute Resolution Process with Ford today and we will see how that goes before I take legal action such as Lemon Law suit...They told customer service that they had never been able to duplicate the problem...but it happened with a tech in the car and I have multiple videos of the malfunctin on my phone which I have showed them...

thats kinda shady mang, gonna take mine in saturday to see if they can fix it ='/ i also have this weird vibration when taking off in first too, not sure if its normal but it almost feels like taking a moving tire with knobby tread to the side of the transmission. i'll keep you posted if they find anything on mine as to the airbag light :(

Nothing as serious as yours but I have had my 06 GT Vert in for 4 times to repair a squeaky dash that raises hell at freeway speeds and low speeds even over slightly uneven surfaces. Not something I expect out of a new car. I intend to start the resolution process as well but am kind of skeptical at this point. Anyone know how long does it take to resolve something by this means?
