I really want to start building my site from scratch. I had the site running previously off of the e107 CMS. It was too much crap, I didn't need all of it and it was full of security flaws. I figure it would be better to start off from scratch and learn the code better.

I want to get it rolling, but I can't think of what to start it with  I have total writer's block here so what do you guys think would be decent stuff to start with. The whole premise for the site will be DIY stuff mostly, like tuning, audio, building/designing things, science/engineering stuff etc.

So what do you guys think for starters :scratch:and how should I lay it out? I'm going to start with the current frameset with the thin border at the bottom and a navigation frame at the top.
