Why not just go with the Mongoose kit?

Mongoose kit is $3,700. I don't need the XCal 2 as I have one, and I can save ~$400 buying the pieces seperatly. All I'd miss out on is a mail-order tune from Tim.

Which IAT should I look into? Is there a special one? I never read anything anywhere about getting a new IAT. Are they expensive?

Call MPH and ask them to quote you a price on Mongoose kit minus the tuner--I see no reason for them not to do it--plus you get a good tune out of it instead of paying for a dyno tune...

iat is listed in the mongoose kit. From what I know it goes in the plumbing somewhere around the powerpipe. It's originally apart of the MAF but needs to be relocated due to new LMAF

I bought mine new for $75 on ebay. shipping was like $7
And what year is his Lightning? not all had 90mm MAF.

Nah, sorry I didn't reflect the price properly. The $90 is new offline. He will sell me his for probably like $50. It's not stock off his lightning. He put it on since he has a 2000 and they don't come with a 90. However, he's going to be upgrading to a 95mm.

His car is disgusting. 2.3L Kenne. 585rwhp on pump gas and mild tune. Daily Driven!

So where should I get my car tuned? Kauffman? It's a 3.5 hour drive for me. Bleh! But I want a safe tune. That's the most important thing for me right now.
