i need tires!!! but short of cash...what should i do?

I need tires!! The cheapest ones for my 99GT I have found are Kumho ECSTA 711 for $350 for four. Are these any good? I really can't spend more than $450. What are my options? I'm broke, and I can't pass inspection without a whole new set of tires. I don't drive crazy or anything......I drive my old beat around mazda pickup 90% of the time.

Check out the Sumitomo's. They seem pretty nice and look awesome and they're a good price on tirerack.com also.

Yeah, you can find used tires with a good amount of tread left on them for cheap.
