wow, me and my friend (96GT281) heard about this car show thats held every friday night at a local shopping center, so after work tonight we took a little cruise there, it was the stupidest thing in the world!!!! they were all wanna be Fast & the Furious kids, so we pulled in and drove throught all the honda with big coffee can exhaust sticking sideways out the back so we parked a little way away, in 1 second the was a 100 kids around our cars, all of them were like (how much you wanna run for dawg?) i told them i didnt want to race i just awanted to look at some cars, they all started talkin so much s**t that i was scared that i would loose i told them i wasent into street racing, that just started more S**T talkin, so we just decided to leave, and all of them were called us pu**ys as we drove off
Yup that sounds about right for the type of crowd,really errogant and sure of their cars,dont get me wrong every once in awhile ill come across one that really is fast but the majority of them are all show.Kinda like last year there was a yellow lancer running around here that always gave me crap,you know one with the fart can and stickers,his mouth would never stop,so one night I caught him at a light and I hammered it...so did he, I pulled on him by I dunno...4-5 cars with my stock GT that I had,Honestly I havnt seen that car since.
Oh and I forget about this VW bug,I think its a 1.8 Turbo.He is always saying how he takes vettes and 03-04 cobras,I just dont see it happening...maybe im wrong...but I doubt it.
yeah this place was full of the same kind of people, i was embarressed being there, a kid with a 87 305 camaro with a flow master!! was trying to race me for money, i nicely told him i would smoke him with no problem, ive raced plenty of 305's before with no problem at all
Yeah the 305 slomaro's are slow,ive owned a 84 z28,88z28,and a 88 IROCZ all 305's and they were slow,well the IROC was until I dropped in a Built 350,then it screamed. Wait a sec,whats a maro doin at a ricer get together..... ,dont tell me it had a fart can on that one flowmaster.
Your story reminds me of last years car show,Its Called "Brazos Annual Rod Run".Its all muscle old to new,except for 2 ricers that setup all the way in the back,Lots of bling,neon,wierd fuzzy balls stuffed in the rims,Sparco seats,safety harness,several fire extingueshers,ect,ect...and they spent the entire time wipeing these things down.They were getting mad cuz everyone was laughing at those cars and they didnt understand WHY.Uhh HELLO.... Thats what I do like about where I live. We have the typical ricer but they never show at the car cruises. We have a cruise on Friday nights all summer long but all you see is muscle cars, no ricers, wonder why?
yea those ricers were gay when we pulled up the one kid asked me if my car was a v6 i told him v8 and he said it sounds like a v6
theirs also a car show by bravos but they usally have a good number of muscle cars. you should hit that one up next.

Funny thing is over here, most of the ricer hangouts pretty much freak out when we come along. Back in the day, I used to cruise down with a bunch of domestic cars to a HUGE ricer hang out on saturday nights. If you can imagine it, there would be 10+ of us all consisting of everything from GT's, Cobras, Vipers, Z06's, Grand Nationals, Porsche 996 twin turbo.... pretty much cars that will rip 95% of the cars there to shreds. We just came to hang out, they pretty much left us alone unless they were nice and came by to talk cars.
all the kids here were a buch of s**t talkers i would of kill almost every car there, because they were just hondas with a CAI and an exhaust i will never bring my car there again, i thought it would be a cool place to hang out, but they were all trying to be like the fast & furious
I'd have asked them if any of them have been to the track and what they ran. That is a direct and equal comparison. The quarter mile does not lie, and only makes bad drivers look worse. If they can't even come within 1 second of your best run, then there is absolutely no point in racing them.
well i know one one the kids there with a civic, he is one of the faster ones, and here turned a 14.5, i think i could beat that

Corky Dawg....... You are so right with the look, the new thing with the ricers is to drive around with your hoodie on your head. Maybe it's a ghetto racing helmet look? Honestly unless it's a WRX (STI), Evo...nothing in the Asian market really scares me. And there are not enough Supras or Rx-7's rolling around to really be fair to mention them. Hondas/Acuras just aren't performance cars, the S2000 is a good stab, but it's far from amazing the design is basic and blan. Even the NSX is a disappointment (sweet car though visually). Nothing against asian companies they are just in a different performance mind then that of Europe and Americans.
thats how it is at the car meet thats in the town i live in..nothing but big wings on small civics..and a few bada$$ t/a's that go out there and dont even talk to anyone..i thought that was the point of car meets...converse with people and maybe learn some new stuff and maybe make a new friend..but everyone keeps to theyre little click and when you try to talk to them they're soo smug about it you just give up.. and when they do wanna race they're are not even worth the gas or getting caught.. :Track:
