One of my friends who happens to be a cop told me I should inform the SAAQ that the car has a 5.0L and have it pass inspection. So I called the SAAQ and they told me it's legal to swap engines but legaly the car has to pass a mechanical inspection. This will cost me 70 bucks and a GM dealership will be doing the inspection lol. I think this will also help the insurance company in the event that they try and cancel my insurance because the car isn't a 4 banger anymore.
Also if any ******* cop pulls me over and tries to give me a hard time, I can just refer him to the recent inspection sticker and tell him to F-off!
