We all know the easiest way to save gas is to take your foot out of it... what are some other minor things you can do to save gas?

    1.) Shift 1,3,5 or 2,3,5 ?
    2.) Start in 2nd Gear ?
3.) Drop to neutral and coast when possible ?
4.) Stay within the speed limit ?
    5.) Dont buy 4.10's ?

If you drive a lot of highway miles up your tire pressure 4psi from recommended pressure, not the pressure on the sidewall of the tire but the pressure in the glove box.
Keep your car in tune, filter/maf clean, injector cleaner every 3000 miles, synthetic oil, airconditioning on mimimum to get the job done, don't drive across the street to go to a different store, walk there.
Don't make unnessary trips and combine the errands you have to make.

Reduce the speed. It has been shown that driving 70 mph causes around a 20% reduction in gas mileage compared to 55 mph.

Nater, do you have the test results for that? A link?

You have to figure out what is the best area covered by the mph you are going. Just because you go slower (mph) doesn't mean you are getting the most mpg...

Get a vacuum gauge to tell where the optimal (least consumptive) cruising ranges are in each gear and stay there.
