identify this maf

The 55 mm was the first design of the MAF for the Mustang. Not sure why it doesn't have the pole in the middle, but cutting then pole out of the 70 mm has been a common mod to increase air flow.

i hear cutting out the pole can cause calibration and idle issues
 
Danny, I have not been to a Holiday Inn in some time. :D

I just went out and read off the alpha-numerics on my spare (oem-ish) meter to compare to yours (since I cant do pics). Here is what is on my electronics (Ford):

F2VF - 12B579- A1A
AFH70-04

You got it with all the flange stuff (SN's have the 4 bolts, Foxes dont).

I know Joe (Vibe) has run a fox MAF on his SN for years now. He reworked the housing to make the meter fit for his application. Others have said it wont work. Who knows.
