I just did a h/c/i change trick flow, 70mm egr & tb 1" spacer 30 lb injectors c&l cai w 30lb calibration tube 190lph fuel pump have fuel pressure set at 35psi and timing set at 10 degrees. it wont idle longer that 1 minute when its warm id say 3 or 4 min. when cold, I checked for vac. leaks all good changed o2 sensors and didnt help. tps and iac sensors are brand new came with tb could it be a map sensor i just replaced icm over the winter. please help i want to get this on the road and see what it has i also deleted smog pump and have no a/c i tried disconnecting map sensor to see if that was junk and the car died instantly
Put the pressure to 39. Warm up the engine, unplug the IAC and see if it stays running. If not, turn the idle screw up till it idles at about 750 rpm.... recheck your tps. If you have to crack the throttle blades quite far, to get it to run, and the tps goes out of a range where you cant adjust it, make sure there is a small hole in the T-body throttle plate... about 3/16" should do.... if not, drill one and try again
almost there diconnested ac to map not sure if this tube should be capped off of intake but i adjusted tps got better but not 100% tonight my new iac from ford will be here then going to reset idle and go from there if thiat dosent work i have a brand new bottles of carb cleaner and electrical cleaner. i will not rest until this is running perfect!!!!
