Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky? If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11? Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence? If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved? If George W Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved? If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved? So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 5 months -- so you'll have three years and seven months to come up with an answer.
And you forgot about his efforts to help the troops in Afghanistan. If Bush had taken this long to "send help" it would have been all over the news. But instead all you hear is "he's taking the time to get it right"

Absolutely not. It was all the bills he sponsored and all the decisive votes he did while he was in the Senate. Takes a lot of courage to make a stand and vote present. Oh yeah, and lets not forget about ACORN's help in the election. When Batman, Superman, and Lois Lane vote for you, that's gotta say something.

who is claiming that bush was the best president ever? certainly not me. as for obama winning the election because he is black, that may play a part, but the reality is that people were mad at bush and the republicans, and obama campaigned on hope, change, and fiscal responsibility. all that was pointed out was many of the things that obama has done in his first 6 months in office, and asked what you you say if it was bush that did all these things.
