Something you would love to have for your daily driver. Throw cost/fuel/maintenence out the window, just the car that you would be happiest to drive every day. Something that the only mods you would do would be wheels/tint/exhaust and nothing else. A car you would drive to work and the store as well as cruise in on a Friday night. Not an investment or anything, something just for the joy of driving and something YOU could live with driving all the time. My choice would be an Aston Martin DB9S The style and power combination are just perfect IMHO. Sure the Vanquish is faster but the DB9 has more class and style. I love those cars.
Right now I want a CTS-V and Lotus Elise. Not super expensive or crazy fast cars, but both look good and serve the purpose.
Doc, there is no way you would drive that car every day. I have been in one and its obnoxiously loud and sparse inside, no stereo and I dont think it has an AC eaither. Rattles like a mofo and overheats in stop and go traffic. I mean its a spectacular car though.
Jaguar XJ220 or a Ferrari 328GTS. Those wouldn't necessarily win any races, but I would be guaranteed to turn more heads than any other car here just because they're classics that nobody ever sees on the streets.
Really Nighthawk? You would use the completly stripped out version to drive to and from work every day and cruise tothe store? I could see a regular 430 with carpet and a radio but the Scuderia is a track car. Now I can see some of you could be happy with a race car interior and no AC as a daily driver but it would drive me nuts after I got over the initial wow factor of having the car.
amnit: i was just about to post that. now i'll just look like a copycat therefore ill go to the old back-up: '69 boss 429. i know, not of the same caliber as others in this thread, but i'd just love to have one of those.
ANYTHING. Just the most desierable car to you that you would use every day to go to work and do errands in. Dont worry about maintenence costs or MPG or somebody hitting it, just something you could and would really use. So not like some weird old car that needs 8 hours of maintenence for every hour driven.
You keep adding rules to the selections! What if someone doesn't like the feeling of AC and likes to do 8 hours of work on their car to drive it?
