Just in case you like white Saleens...... I'm changing the insurance policy on my Saleens and they needed a few pictures of them to prove the can be classified as "collector cars" Thought you might like a to see a few pictures.........
.....well I do have a thing for white #01 Saleens and the prototype just happens to be white Not sure which truck will get the #01 badge as both the silver and white S331's were built at the same time and have not yet been assigned numbers......... I've already expressed interest in the white one once it is retired as a press whore and demonstration slut. My only condition was it get that #01 bumper number so it would feel part of the family with the speedster and xp8
Steve owns and still has SSC #01. I believe it was built at the end of the run or out of a 88 like Marks SA-5. Something strange like that which I guess if you look at the big picture by Saleen's standards it's not strange at all.
.....well, I do have a four eyed white Saleen however it is kinda out of commission as of now. Yes, Steve and Liz do have the #01 SSC which is in a undisclosed storage facility somewhere in SoCal. I have not yet hit them up for a possible sale. Marcus is correct, it was built at the end of the model year and badged #01. The SSC that Mark had @ PAS wore the #01 badge through all the R&D stuff and then was rebadged #02 late in the year......

I got out the old logging gear out and climbed one of my 60ft California Pines just for that picture Actually, the second picture was taken from atop the Saleen Museum AKA: Saleen Ranch Orange County or my garage One of these days, when it is finally organized, painted and posters on the wall, I'll get pictures of her up....
