I'm installing a Pace Setter header and I need some help

Hey guys, I have recently ordered a header from racer walsh and I was working on installing it and my O2 sensor will not fit correctly because the transmission gets in the way. Now, with a considerable amount of work, I could maybe get it to fit, but I want to know what will happen if I just plug the hole in the header, and forget about the sensor. Any help with this would be appreciated.

What year is your car? I don't think years would make much of a difference with how the transmission sits, but on my '93 the O2 fits in there fine. As for what problems plugging it would cause, I really don't know but I'd imagine it would run like *****.

mine is a 93 as well, but it is the a4ld transmission. Because of its size, the o2 sensor doesnt look like it will fit, but I'll give it a shot i guess.
