I've always admired the GT500 Rims so I bought this set off eBay which were pulled fresh off a new one for 22 inchers (!) The Goodyears even ride smoother than the Bridgestones I had on the old Torq Thrusts.

I kept the running horse and made sure the installer oriented the running horse to the bolt holes.

...and they're made in the USA!

last car = 2 sets of bullitts, this car came with bullitts, and i don't want a 4th set on my record hah.

I paid 1400, which is less than the sum of the parts, figuring the rims list for 280 each, a set of 4 tpms included (listing around 300) and tires included. Tires are Goodyear F1 Supercar which are on sale on TireRack for around 170 each for the front and around 200 each for the rears (?) His asking price is 1399 plus 160 shipping so basically I offered 1240. Essentially, I asked for free shipping and he accepted the offer.

The fellow shipped very quickly to my tire dealer whom I made prior arrangements. They just took off the old ones and slapped the new ones on. (Checked tire pressure, etc). I left the old rims and tires there for my buyer to pick up. Quick and easy, methinks.

I sold my old rims and tires to a co-worker and I think I'm getting a fair price. I also sold him my concept wheels in the past. I'll bet his wife is killing him.

Very nice.....I find it hard to pull off Shelby wheels on most Mustangs, but yours does it well. You should see how nice they look on Fox body coupes as well.

not a bad deal. i dont need TPMS, so that does not help justify the cost for me personally. one of the few benefits of owning an 05 over any other year. I keep finding deals on wheels, but when I price the tires i really want to put on them, its not such a deal. If i can find a nice set of wheels and tires together for the right price, i would live with a smaller tire than what i really want. however, if i am gonna buy new wheels and tires, i am gonna get the widest i can fit under the car. :D

I love the look of those. I'll probably get a set for "track" wheels that I'll occasionally swap with the FR's for cruising around. The Saleen Heritage 19in wheels are starting to grow on me and they're pretty cheap I hear.

    are these the wheels? [IMG]

if so i didnt like them at first, but after seeing them on a few different cars, they have got to be one of my favorite rims for this body style.

i didn't have saleens on my last car, which everyone had. maybe now i'll go with repro saleens.

Nope i'm talking about the 19in Heritage edition wheels which are five spokes. Those are the "standard" 20in S281 wheels (up till 08). The wheels I'm talking about come standard in all H302 models and the Dan Gurney edition car.

I am really diggin those wheels.

I wonder how much they weigh? I'm a stickler for heavy tires/wheels. My car is totally stock right now, and anything you can do to keep rotating unsprung weight down to a minimum is a good thing.

I've got my eyes on some Roush Trak Pak wheels in flat black. Roush says they are 4lbs. lighter than the chrome versions (per wheel). That's huge. Oh, and they're forged, so...lightweight!
