ok i just wanted to get people's input on what type of in-dash monitor i should get. like i'm talking the one's that flip out from the dash and play cds and dvds and the radio and all that good shyt. i'm looking to spend probably under $300 and wanted to get input from people that either have them or know a lot about them. i have a 2002 gt if that makes any difference in anything. thanks.

You're probably gonna have a difficult time finding anything of decent quality for less than 300, especially if you want it to play cds/dvds as well as having the screen. Alpine, Kenwood, and Pioneer all make units that will do it all, but they are a bit pricey too.

He's right, it's going to be very hard to find a nice screen that plays DVD's and is motorized. I know there are more examples, but a nice screen like this one: http://www.digitalww.com/LCD_TM_701L_BLACK.htm that doesn't play DVD's, and is non-motorized is $245.
