and i realized its a lot more work than i originally thought!! lol, im following the article at http://stinger-performance.com/howto.html so HOPEFULLY i wont mess anything up. for your knowledge, im not mechanic savvy...in fact i know nothing at all of what im doing. so...wish me luck!!!
Good Luck! No seriously, it isn't that much difficult, The only difficult part is the pedal assembly.. Don't forget to put tranny fluid in it after!
ummm ok, we are in the middle of the swap. we are removing the pedal assembly and there are two bolts holding it in that the article didnt mention. (or at least i havent seen it) edit: i figured out what the bolts are...they hold the steering column in place. the article said to remove them...but...yeah... i dont know how to remove these bolts, anyone care to help? they are the long bolts near the front of the pedal assembly at the top. (make any sense? id show pictures but i dont have a digi cam right now)' oh yeah if it helps i have an 89 Ford Mustang...LX duh.
ok problem solved....heh, its great having a semi-mechanic as a friend. i dont know what he did but the pedal assembly is out. yah for me! lol...
