i installed a stage 1 cam and now my car is sooo screwed up. I tried adjusting the idle (checking the tps too) i advanced the timing 14 degrees and the fuel pressure is fine. The problem is it likes to buck if i give it a little gas, i have to get on the throttle or push in the clutch to get the bucking to stop too. The cam was installed correctly but why in the h#ll is it bucking like that? ALSO as much as i adjust the idle it always always always stays at 500 (when its cold) and wont idle above 800 (when warm) no matter what i do.

When I did a cam swap, of course the battery was disconnected. After everything was done, I was told to go drive the car as I normally would for at least 15 minutes so the computer could learn the new parameters of the cam. I also heard that to cure some computer related problems, disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes or so to clear the computer, then hook it up and go drive. No hard and fast rules here, just my experience that worked.
