Installing 1.6 rockers? Adjust

I got pedestal rockers, 1.6 prx's. I thought you could just torque them down? My buddy says I have to adjust them with crank? i asked him how he said he doesn't exactly know. He says if you just torque them down, when crank moves they going to be loose and not function right. help please?

you can just torque them down. but you can check the them just like adjustable rr and make sure that they torque down with in half a turn of zero lash.

if they don't you have to get a shim pack for under the pedestals.
