The intakes are interchangeable. The lowers are identicale, while the passcar upper is the same more restrictive part used on the '86 HO engine.
In fact, the passcar engine is almost identical to the'86 HO in all regards. The exceptions are- Cast intead of forged pistons, and the cam is tamer and ground for the old 289-302 firing order.
In other words, try and use '87-'93 HO stuff whenever possible.
