Interior Paint?

I have red interior but the previous owner did a black and red conversion. the black paint looks bad. is there a way to remove the black paint withough ruining the original red color?

Any paint thinner/stripper mineral spirits is gonna do something unwanted to that interior. Best move would be to clean and rinse it REAL well, then use a good type of interior dye. That would the route I would take. It is how I switched my interior from Blue, to Grey.
