I just got a 60GB iPod video yesterday and i am having trouble trying to figure out how to put videos(DVDs and from my camera) on it. Does anyone know how to do this? I don't want to buy from itunes until i am sure that i cannot upload my own vids first.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Oh and if anyone is planning on getting one the paint on the iPod scratches like a mother.

Thanks,

Nick

Just so happens this has nothing to do with mustangs but I do have all the answers you need.

OK, your first question was regarding tranfering videos. The situation is you need a coverter to convert them to quicktime or .M4V.

Apple has clearly done this so people would go out and buy the quicktime software to do the conversions for them. I DO believe that itunes will do it somtimes.

I personally use this software, it's very easy to use and converts most video formats to a format itunes and you ipod do support.

The next question is about the IPOD scratching. Yes the IPOD is the worst thing for scratching I have ever seen. I got mine and it was scratched the first day from being in the case that came with it.....WFT right.

I found this product on the net for protecting my IPOD and all I can say is that it's the most amazing thing I have ever tried. Installation takes some patience, but once you have it one......Nothing better.

Hope I could be of some help.

I use the same program for my 30gb IPod. :nice:

I found a case on Ebay for about $10 shipped that fit my IPod perfect. Just shop around you'll find something that'll work for you.
