I let my car sit outside for about 9 months with the motor apart down to the block, hood closed and a sheet over the block...is my block ruined now? This is what it lookes like.

Rick 91GT said:With that much rust on the cylinders it would be best to hone it or the rings may not seal, clean it all, have it tanked, decked and do a minor rebuild.
Now since it was sitting the rigs may be seized to the cylinder walls, I'd soak it for a few days before trying to turn it over.
