Guys I believe I own the Motorcraft 2150 carburetor. It does say Motorcraft on it, but all other tags are missing. A manual I found on the internet states:

Motorcraft 2150 2V Carburetor

All Motorcraft 2150 carburetors are equipped with one of three automatic choke systems.

  • Hot-air choke
  • Hot-air choke with electric assist
  • Electric choke

Ok, so far so good mine looks like one of the Hot-air varieties, but then I see the diagram shows something called the "Choke Pulldown Diaphragm" #2 in the first picture which mine does not have. So I search the internet and find pictures on eBay of a carb similar to mine but with an electric choke and it's also without the diaphragm (green picture), so now I'm confused do some of them not come with the diaphragm, or is mine missing one? (see last pic with the carb upside down showing the two vertical bolt holes where the diaphragm could mount up to.)

Please explain.

(Yes i should ditch it for a four barrel, and I already bought a Holley but this is just a matter of principal now, lol)
