Is my tranny Slipping or No??

    when i punch the gas the rpms go all the way up without the wheels! but then its drops back down to where its supposed to be, i dont think its my tranny slippin bc wouldnt the rpms stay where they are they the wheels kick in and ill be screechin?? Hope this is a good enof explanation.. Plz Help, thanks.

    sounds like it could be a slipping clutch. With the kinda power you have, the tires may not nescicarly squeel when the rpms come back down.

    The clutch. There is nothing in a manual tranny to slip. I bet you'll get a nice smell if you let it slip very long. :D
