is the 96-98 taillight lens removable from the housing?

Can you take apart the 96-98 taillights without having to ruin them and reassemble them as good as new?

I am wondering if the lens (the clear red part) is glued/plastic welded to the housing. I'm pretty sure the painted bezel is held on with screws and clips.
