tint and tips teasers (more pics added)... So... there are a few things I've done recently the the stang... I put in some Mach 1 springs (I need it somewhat off the ground cause it's my winter sled too... for now). I gave it a chance to settle in for about 2 weeks before I took the pics. It's a good 1.25 lower now so I'm pleased. I also don't have pics of this but I got some MSD 8.5 race wires (I still had the originals on) Next up there are more modifications (tomorrow I pick up some magnaflow 3.5" 18" long chrome tips (the ractive black chrome ones turned out to be garbage and the coating came off). Wednesday I go in for some tint (5% back 3 and 35% front 2). Then in two weeks I go back to the body shop for a couple of dents getting removed and rear 1/4 repainted, repaint the rear bumper (clearcoat started bubbling) and the side door dinger things removed (that no one cares for) and buffed out so there is no color mismatch... I think I'll like it alot better when I get it back... before the springs: after the springs:
Looks alot better. I like that color because its very unique. Is that factory? I always hated those sidestrips when i had my black 96 GT, glad u decided to remove them.
thansk!! and yes it's factory. (only 829ish of them made, and about 5 lucky ones with factory racing stripes according to the now-m.i.a. yellow mustang registry page about them) but I'm not really stock anymore so it doesn't matter too much... I also decided to remove the side bumper things because I saw some pics of other 94-98's without them and saw how much cleaner and smoother they looked without them...
Well I now have transformation pics part 2 of three: Window tint and Exhaust tips. I ended up going with the three back wondows @ 5% and the front two @ 50% (it is illegal here for front tint... thats why it's so light) and I also welded in some 3.5" rolled Magnaflow tips. I just got back and it's getting dark and I'm tired so these are the best pics for now...
