6k on a stock bottom end? Seems you coulda had a pretty decent stroker for that price.

Not downing your work by any means. Sweet looking build.

Ebay and forum classifieds are your friend.

Looks clean... Just curious why you didnt go with 30lb injectors though? are they not recommended for that kind of setup?

I've had long phone conversations with the techs at Trick Flow before I decided to buy their kit and this is what they recommended as support mods.

1. 24 lb. injectors
2. 70mm throttle body
3. 75 mm mass air meter... (Pro M, not C&L)
4. 255 lph fuel pump
5. True flat top pistons (forged) with no valve relief cuts
6. Cylinders bored .030 over stock 4" diameter

They claim this exact set up consistently produces 360 crank HP.

I have done all they said to do except boring the cylinders .030 over stock.
I have stock 4" bores so my hp will be slightly lower than 360.

If my engine produces 340 HP I will be happy, because it's also getting a ZEX 150 HP wet shot. So 340 + 150 = 490 HP... just short of what the stock 302 block is said to be able to handle before running the risk of spitting.

I have a new Competition AOD from Performance Automatics rated at 550 HP backing it up with a 3000 rpm stall convertor and 3.73 rear gears and hardened Moser axles.
