Just got e-mail about rebates on GT, not on ford site????????????

I just got an e-mail that they are giving $1000 cash back on Automatic GT's, but it does not list that on the ford site at this point. Anyone know if this is true?

Our dealer told us yesterday that there are no incentives or rebates on Mustang GTs available. It may vary from region to region. However, with a Zplan...we got the Zplan price and an additional $1000 cashback ...why, we dont know. They just said thats what popped up when the PIN was entered. (ours was an Auto too)

One dealer told me there offering $750 on a auto GT.

I was just out today trying to find a good deal on the '06 GT I'm gonna buy and a dealer told me the same thing. I'm looking for a manual and they said that if I wanted an automatic Ford's offering $1,000 rebates on them.
