Roush KB 1.7 swap update (dial up warning)

I haven't been posting here in a while, just thought I'd give an update on the S2 to KB 1.7 update. We started the install last week. Removed the old intake, and put in the new one. Also removed the gt fuel tank although we havn't put in the cobra one yet.

I am missing a few misc parts (throttle linkage bracket, some small bolts and couplers) so it is on hold for the time being. A buddy in my club lives up in Perris so he's going to try and get the few parts from KB that I need since he knows someone that works there. Hopefully we can get it done by next weekend, although it'll be a few weeks til I get it tuned since I'm waiting on my tuner.

Here's some pics:

Beer is in the fridge :D People always love the pizza pic too! Dennis I was hoping to get my car done by then but it won't be ready. I promise I'll make it up to one of your hangouts when I get it all done.

Cool. When we see my car, you can check out your old RIPP pipe that I restored. :D

Well after going on a scavenger hunt for misc parts, we got it done this weekend. I still need to wait for my tuner when he has some time so I can get into boost.

Oh I'm debating about spliting up my S2 modified parts, if anyone local in SoCal wants them at a reasonable price (I would need your old parts).

Congrats.

Maybe Steve will have time to tune it before the show?

I'm actually getting it tuned locally at www.DPRsocal.com. One of the owner/mechanics is a good friend along with being a member of the car club I'm in.

The current tune feels good so far, car is driving fine. I haven't romped on it yet, also need to get my clutch pedal adjuster fixed along with some other misc things. I'm waiting to hear back when I can get scheduled in.
