Kind Of Hard To Explain

I have a 97 GT with an automatic. Sometimes when it shifts from 1 - 2 it kind of hesitates. This is when shifting soft not WOT. I was wondering if maybe fuel pump... I really have no idea, so any help would be great.

When's the last time she's had a tranny fluid flush, or even a change?

You may have a bad 1-2 servo or spring; may want to have your tranny serviced - explain to them the problem your having. They may reccomend a shift kit; would make your shifts a lot more firm and precise and make a world of difference. Could be all you need.

The shift kit would be a great idea, and while you're in there change the filter and replace the fluid.
