KYB's Fitment issues!

Did any of you guys run into fitment issues with the KYB shock and quad setup?
My quads are rubbing up on the rear shock... Its leaving visible rubbing marks.
For the record I did put the two spacers in that came with the quads. Both are on the inside (towards the car) to move them away from the shock itself. One on each of the mounting points for the quad...

I'm pissed because I threw away my stock crap. I figured I wont need it anymore

In the past I have heard of people having issues with
the KYB struts and shocks.

You can turn the quads around, a lot of people reverse the mounting to gain clearance for larger tires, maybe that would help your problem?
