TTT Just talked to another Stang driver and it appears word is gettting out. Have no idea how many will show up but should be good. Everyone still spreading the word? Hopefully if I get some free time this week I can get the MagnaFlow CB on.
So what EXACTLY is the plan? Are we all bringing food? Are we even eating? Is someone going to get a spot? Details plz
Plan? My thoughts are since this is the first event and we do not have an actual registration or body count, everyone bring their own food and beverages. If we decide this is a success and get a club together to "organize" it we can have an actual event next year. As for the spot I will be making up signs to guide people to where we are going to locate at. If you would like we can make a run out there this week to pick an area suitable for us. Let me know.
Glad I asked..... I'll be working late all week and maybe attending an event til around 12 or 1 the day of the BBQ. I may just skip it though. I know Casitas fairly well and there are some pretty good size places out to the left. As for accommodating all of the cars, well that's another story. Perhaps a phone call to Casitas is in order to see what options we have. We need to get an estimate of how many people are going to show up though. Rusty/Dustin: your thoughts
Leet's talk Give me a call when you get a second cell#444-7735. I called the lake and they said it shold not be an issue, thus I selected that site as somewhere we should all know and can enjoy. Joe
People in the Oxnard/Ventura/Simi area...we will be meeting at Vons in the Rose shopping center tomorrow at noon. If your getting food and drink, good time to get it, so be there a few minutes early so we can leave promptly at 12, then head up to the lake. See you all there... Tony
Casitas Pictures Here are a few Pics from the lake...... Here are the cars and their drivers....... Here are a few shots of the cars...... Letty gettin' down in the Cobra...... Oh no, bad coil......
Hey, Thanks to everyone on the assist today. If it wasn't a shoddy coil, it was low fuel, or a bad ground. Seemed karma was against me today, but y'all hung by until I got it sorted. THANKS!
Good Times were had Hey everyone, not a bad turn out. Thanks for attending and we definately got to do it again with more "formal" planning. Either way follow the link to pics we took: Lake Casitas Stang Meet/BBQ Just click view photos, you DO NOT need to register.
Glad to see you made it home. I was REALLY impressed of everyone sticking around and contributing to make sure you got home. This could be the start to a great club with members like that! Joe
We missed you there though man. Hope everything is going along smoothly with the project. Talk to you soon!!
