Yea I layed it over about 2 hours ago LOL. I felt fine coming into the DQ after about 100 miles of riding, but as I turned sharp into the parking spot @ < 1MPH with both feet on/near the ground, I guess my ballence was off and by the time I realized I was leaning it was too late and I couldnt stop it. Bike layed over VERY VERY slow and while going down I was sortof out of it...got a bit light headed and everything is like a blur. I seriously thought it was a dream :rlaugh: I either got dehidrated (sp) or was oxygen depribed I guess...and didnt even relize my ballence was off. I honestly still dont feel right and my leg is hurting from trying to hold the bike up/letting it down easy. Fortunatly a friend of mine and my dad were there (all riding togethor) and they got the bike up while I was picking myself up off the ground LOL.

Fortunatly I let it down so slow that the fairing is 100% ok - a few little scratches...and most of those nicks are in the decals. Little scrape on the edge of the exhaust pipe, mirror was a little roughed up, and the front break has a scratch on it. Its not too bad really, but im not going to fix it until I have more seat time as its not bad enough to really bother me (that much). Freegin cats really put more noticable scratches on my tank (2). Anywho Ill probably buy some pegs now lol, if I had bought those the bike would have been untouched. I may also buy some touchup pait tomorrow.

But for the bike having over 700 miles on it, and for being the VERY first bike over 70CCs that I have ridden by myself, thats pretty good and im not sweating it too bad. Like everyone says, its just a matter of time....but sucks that it happened because I got a little weird feeling  . I just thank God that it didnt crack the fairing or break anything :nice: .

My husband did the same thing with his road king a couple months ago. Managed to come away with no damage to the bike, but he was pretty sore for awhile from keeping the bike from being damaged. Just good that you are ok...

Thanks for the responces guys :) . Yea this is the 3rd day in a row that we all went riding. And each day I put about 130miles on the bike...and honestly its not too bad of a ride at all. I dont feel like I just rode 130miles at all (- the leg)
Adveraging 49.8MPG right now over the past 3 days with quite abit of spirited takeoffs and blasts, breaking the engine in.

Yea I really need to get the car going guys...we havnt touched it in 3 weeks :( . But honestly we cant do anything...i have been waiting on my supplier from Sanantonio to ship me my darn header flanges for a month now  . But their suppliers laser jet went out, last I heard....and they were supposed to get them and ship them last week. Ill call them again tomorrow.

Oh and the peeps painting my hood have had that for a freegin month too! Man people are really taking their time LOL.

your blood sugar was low + being hot in leathers. Pull over after like 70 miles or so and grab something light, or at least take the helmet off for a bit

Well you didn't get hurt (sore doesn't count ;)) and the bike is fine. Just be careful man, all it takes is one minor mistake.

Yea I think your right...when I went inside I was really thirsty, and I had to take my leather jacket off becuase I was hot. Back was all sweaty. I hadnt ate or drank that much either at that time, so it probably was low. :nonono: Just enough to jack me up lol.
But man that, and riding really makes you realize how unprotected you are out there...if someone pulls out or something, im gone. :(
I shouldnt be getting more relaxed with the bike like I have been...need to stay very cautious. Its extremely fun being out there riding, but its just so dangerous...just have to be very carefull.

Hope you had fairing pegs (or w/e they're called) at the time to at least break the fall.

yea you mean Frame sliders. Yea cody i would suggest getting some of those cause for minor crashes like that you wouldnt scratch up ur bike the pegs will help to keep the road away from the plastics. I wish i had them when i wrecked it would have saved some of it.
