Is the tension of the leaf springs from a 1964 V6 greater or equal to some 1966 gt spings?
My situation is that the car was orginally a v6 and was convertered to a v8. When the rear end was swapped out I used the v6 leaf springs.
Now I've put on some 17x8 torque thrust and Im rubbing when I go over a speed bump or driveway. Its isnt a major rubbing but wouldnt like to ruin my tires.
So now im thinking of installing these '66 leaf springs with new Polyurethane Energy Suspension Leaf Spring and Shackle bushings hoping it would help. Im planning to instal some cal-tracs when I fall into some extra bucks!
