Leaking Oil Pan

I noticed last night a little pool of oil under my car. After jacking it up and looking both oil pan plugs are dripping very slightly. This is a 7 quart canton oil pan, only 3 years old. I cranked down and its tight, but looking at it it looks like my speed shop added a washer between the bolt and pan. I suspect this maybe an issue as it has never leaked before this. I'm going to change the oils this evening and remove the washer, does anyone recommend a special washer or some sort of sealant?

They should be crush washers or hard rubberized type. Thats whats on the stock pan.

if you overtighten the bolt, you can warp the pan and/or strip the threads on the pan. They sell rubber plugs in the help section that replace the bolt if the threads are stripped.
