I had a valve keeper pop off my brand new head when adjusting the valves. I had to wait till summit sent me a new one lol. It was pretty straight forward man. You cant really mess anything up
hey demented50h is that a saleen bumper with the gt sideskirts? it looks like it in the pics, i was told i couldnt do this , and it wouldnt line up well. Do you have any side shots of the car with that setup, did you just put the lx bumper on and then the saleen part. it looks like it matches up pretty well,
why yes it is. it lines up just fine. the problem is the trim is a little different from gt to LX, for some reason they changed the size of the beltline molding. The Gt's is like 1" and the LX is 1/2". Yes i put the LX bumper on then the saleen lip wraps around the whole bottom from wheel well to wheel well sorry i don't have any pics that are all that good showing the difference
can you put the little gt fender bottom piecie on? and is it only the molding on the front bumper thats differnt? the fender molding will remain gt and then meet up with the lx style correct? how bad or noticeable was it when you had it like this?
I hope there is some clean gt's still around in a year or so. Thats my next ride. I need one of those and a NOtch and then my collection is complete lol
Wasn't there like 1 picture of you car in an article about a big car show in a recent issue of MM&FF or 5.0 and they said something like "we'll be featuring this car in a future issue" or something like that??
