Thanks for the advice and comments on my recent question concerning the lifting capacity of a lift plate attached at the carburetor position on an aluminum intake manifold.
As you can see (I hope). It worked fine with attachments upfront and an AOD in back. By using the aft hole in the lift plate, the unit was evenly balanced and very easy to maneuver.
Now, the hard part - cutting and welding in the motor mounts.
