I recently got the Screamin' Demon & Livewires combo from Performance Distributors. I discovered that the metal collar inside the boot on two of the wires is too far back inside the boot to make contact with the spark plug, which leaves the two wires popping off, and since my stock wires were done for, I don't have any other wires to put on while I wait for replacements. My question is, do any of you know of a way to get that little collar back into place so that it connects to the spark plug again? I'll take any idea into consideration. I've thought about cutting some rubber off the end of the boot, but that would mean I couldn't send the wires back.
