Longer Wheel Studs for 9" rear

[69 Rustang]

I am finally putting my 69 Mustang back together after painting a few weeks ago. First order of business was rear axle. When I went to test my new wheels on my 9", I found the wheel studs are too short.

Does anyone know what part number/brand I need to order to get a 1/2" longer press in wheel stud on the 9" rear?

The minimum length I need is 3/8" more, about 1/2" would be ideal. If they are longer, is it OK to cut them off at the length I want/need?

I'm just guessing, but I'd guess your studs are fine, you just need "mag wheel" lug nuts with longer shanks. Can't tell from the pics though.

This takes angled lugs as a regular wheel takes. Longer studs appear to be the solution looking at the wheels on the axle.

OK, you didn't give that info to start with. Try Moser, Strange,etc for longer press in studs. You'lll need to pull one stud and measure the portion that fits into the axle to get what you need.

ARP makes them and I actually have a set in my box'o'parts but I'm about 20 miles away from that right now. If you don't get the part number by the time I go home this weekend I'll post it up.

But look through ARP's stuff, they should have info.
