Any of you GT guys ever swap out your live axel rear for an IRS?
How hard of a swap is this? I am getting a 99 Cobra and want to remove the IRS and swap it with a 99+ Live axel rear. I kind of want to drag my car, and the 'wheel-hop' thing has to go.

Any of you guys in NJ want to swap 'em? :D

Let me know if you guys know anything about this. Or perhaps, where i can buy a 8.8 Live Axel for a 99 Cobra. Thanks!

I want a solid Axle too. Anyone living in southern California with a GT or Mach 1 that wants IRS let me know.

It's not that hard, I've done it a good 7-8 times. Just take your time and make sure you have a good two days if you wanna do two cars (unless you have a shop doing the work, but thats just a waste of money imo).
