Interested in seeing anthracite, charcoal or black FR500 wheels. Staggered setup is preferred, but will accept any. Also, I don't care whether it's an 18" or 20"
    Thanks:D

    Thanks Walter:nice:
I'm having a tough time keeping myself from pulling the trigger on these wheels and currently ending up with 14 wheels (not counting the set of four stock Bullitts I sold soon after getting the car)

    ...I have a sickness:ack::rolleyes:

You can never have too many wheels especially with these cars. They all look great in their own way.

If I had my way I'd have my set, the forged Roush blackjacks (black chrome), The Saleen Heritage 19inchers, and some GT500's.

Maybe if I sold my Forged Aluminum ones I can get enough money for the GT500 set or the Saleens.

A rather bad attempt at photochopping using my "better half":rlaugh:

Now for a much better photochop as I merely blended my "better half" in. I tried lining the pics up to use his wheels, but the the angle is off just enough and thought this made for a much better pic:rock:

It seems that's the case as I already have six Fanblades and the four 340Cs. Just that I really think I like the look of the FR500s and can get a set shipped to my door for less than what two new rear tires will cost me. So do I get the replacement set for my 340Cs or get them to go on a set of FRs:shrug::rlaugh::shrug::rlaugh:

With the white stripes, I would go with anthracite. But black would look good, too.

That's what I was thinking and why I put them in order of anthracite, charcoal and black. I do love how the charcoal 340Cs look with the blue and white. I believe if I went black, I would just be settling, which I don't want to do.

See I'm in your boat. However, I'm looking at different rims but still possibly anthracites or black chrome. Since we have similar color schemes, I figured I'd watch this like a hawk. The rims I'm seeing in my future are these:

I like the 5 spoke design with the chrome. The regular CS69s in chrome are not 100% chrome, i.e. where the black is in that picture, it's not chrome. I figure the black might be enough to really make that chrome pop out, which I don't think you can do better than chrome rims with our VB.

The FR500s look sweet. They are definitely a very "race" looking wheel, though, so I think it's important to get the ride height and tires just right for the perfect look. DarkFire would be an example of perfect. :D

    They're limited edition (supposedly) 20 x 10 and 20 x 9. They're about $1700.

    And I got a photoshop.

    Compared to this

Call me crazy but I'm not sold on those Shelbys. Those Chrome bullitts look better to me. Something doesn't quite look right with them. I prefer the Magnum 500s to those.

I think is how they handle spaces between the spokes that doesn't do it for me.

These just look way better to me anyways.

i didnt like the magnums at all on the last generation mustangs. the sn95s. i almost bought a mach 1 before this car. and people were putting those style magnums on and it just looked off.

with these cars. they actually look pretty sweet.

i definitely like the polished bullitts. if my car came with them i wouldn't even think about changing the wheels for a while.

No. That is with the springs in my sig (1.75" in the front and 1.5" in the back). Dark and I have the same exact wheel sizes and exact same tires (both brand and sizes)...well until I wore them out and they are sitting in the garage while I roll on the fanblades and OEM BFGs:(

I do like some of the new Shelby wheels, but I like the DD look better. I've been looking around and the only thing I see for Anthracite FRs are 18x9 and/or 18x10.5 with the correct offset for the rear of our cars. I know flyboy there has his FRs off his New Edge on his S197 and he's happy with the fit.

Hey Dark (or anybody else that may know for sure),
The 18x10 340C I have now is +45mm offset & 7.27” backspacing while the 18x10.5 is also +45mm offset, but has 7.53" backspacing. Since that is a difference of .25" in backspacing. Does that mean the 10.5" wheel will be both .25" further to the inside and outside:shrug: That's the way I take it.
