Well im back in the saddle of gettin another stang, my 01 gt got totaled back in may, and im not gonna lie, you guys were right i miss driving a mustang. So now Im looking into buyin a cobra, somewhere between the 95-98 range. I was just wondering how these years were for the cobra? Was there anything about these years that is bad? Any input is greatly appreciated.
95 Cobras are still 5.0 In 96 they got the 4.6DOHC. The 98's have nicer wheels and cup holder is in a better place. The 96 are supposed to have better cams but make sure the car has had the cooling system recall. In 96 the Cobra had the GT radiator and its not strong enough. In 97 they changed that and there is a factory recall on the 96's so Ford will fix it for free. I love my 96 and even though it has 113K miles I would not even think of getting rid of her.
