Looking to get new Stang

i am looking for a 99-01 gt convertible 5spd or auto. i am just wandering if there is anything i should be aware of on these. i have always owned a foxbody mustang so i don't know what to look for on these so much. Should i be concerned with higher mileage or not. so far the few i have seen have had anywhere from 88,000+ miles on them. Most of them being autos. not sure i want an auto but if the car is super clean and nice i think it would be okay. Its just going to be a fun summer car........at first

Don't know about the convertibles but I know that when we went from our old 92 Gt to our new 02, in 02, Gt that the ride is so much better. No rattles and so much more stable on the road. As far as gas milleage we have seen 25mpg on the highway ,with an automatic, and the car has nearly a 100k on it now. If the car was maintaned it should be fine, these 4.6 can go for a long time.

yea that is what i got tired of on my 89 lx. the ride was not very good or very comfortable anymore. i know the newer car is going to give me the ride i want.
