Well, I was browsing around for some injectors for the project ill be workin on over the next few years (351w twin turbo) And I was looking at some big injectors, now the ones we have in our cars now are the high impedance right?

the High Impedance ones go up to 75# injectors, but are pricey, there are some low impedance 83# injectors for alot less.

Now being an electricain this has to do with the resistance of the injectors but how does this effect us?

Will I be able to tune for them with JUST my tweecer? or Do I need an injector driver and how does that work?

Also, whats the reason for them switching to low impedance, why didnt they just stick with the normal high impedance ones?

I search the boards but didnt really come up with anything??

high impedance injector is 12 ohm, low impedance injector is 2 ohm, if you plug low impedance injectors to you stock electronic with out any injector driver you probably going to cook the computer. I run the Anderson PMS on my setup and they do need to have their own add-on low impedance driver
