LIVONIA, Mich. – Thanks to ongoing efforts at the manufacturing stage and the strength of the ROUSH® brand at the retail level, the ROUSHcharger® with its legendary 435 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque, not to mention the best warranty in the industry, is now available at a significantly reduced price.

Due to sizeable cost-savings that can be credited to improvements and efficiencies in manufacturing as well as increased demand for the product, ROUSH® has been able to reduce the price on the base M90 ROUSHcharger® to a suggested retail of $4,999, which is up to $936 lower than it had previously sold for. Additionally, the lineup has been revamped and streamlined so that the supplemental kits are no longer required. The new ROUSHcharger® packages include all required parts for the given model year range.

The ROUSHcharger® is available in a black ($4,999 MSRP) or a powder-coated chrome finish ($5,355 MSRP) and fits all 4.6L, 3V V-8 engines fitted to 2005 to 2010 Ford Mustang GTs. This supercharger system comes complete with all necessary hardware, brackets, fasteners, and instructions, and will work on manual or automatic transmissions.

The ROUSHcharger® is the only Ford Mustang supercharger on the market protected by Ford's 3-year / 36,000 mile factory drivetrain warranty, or one-year on ROUSH® components for vehicles already past their warranty date. This kit is also 50-state legal.

The different part numbers for the ROUSHcharger are:

    • 420112 – Black M90 ROUSHcharger® Kit for 2005-2006 Mustangs
    • 420113 – Chrome M90 ROUSHcharger® Kit for 2005-2006 Mustangs
    • 420114 – Black M90 ROUSHcharger® Kit for 2007-2008 Mustangs
    • 420115 – Chrome M90 ROUSHcharger® Kit for 2007-2008 Mustangs
    • 420116 – Black M90 ROUSHcharger® Kit for 2009 Mustangs
    • 420117 – Chrome M90 ROUSHcharger® Kit for 2009 Mustangs
    • 420023 – Black 4.6L ROUSHcharger® Kit for 2010 Mustangs
    • 420024 – Chrome 4.6L ROUSHcharger® Kit for 2010 Mustangs

ROUSH® also announced lower pricing on the F-150 ROUSHcharger® kits. The intercooled version (part number 401633) now has a retail price of $4999. This Ford F-150 supercharger kit adds 145 hp and 143 lb.-ft. of torque at the flywheel to 2004-2008 Ford F-150 and Lincoln Mark LT trucks with the 5.4L, 3V engines, and works with both 4x2 and 4x4 models. This kit will bring the new total power of your engine to 445 hp and 500 lb.-ft. of torque.

The non-intercooled ROUSHcharger® for the F-150 (part number R07000001) is now priced at $2,400. This kit boosts the horsepower on 2004-2006 Ford F-150 and Lincoln Mark LT trucks with the 5.4L, 3V engine to 412 with 477 lb.-ft. of torque. It will also work on 4x2 or 4x4 models.

Additionally, ROUSH® now has available inventory on body kit parts for the new 2010 Ford Mustang. These parts include a front fascia, front and side splitters, rear valance, three-piece rear spoiler and quarter window louvers.

The front fascia, spoiler and quarter window louvers are available pre-painted in eight of the nine 2010 Ford Mustang factory colors (Grabber Blue, Torch Red, Performance White, Kona Blue Metallic, Red Candy Metallic, Black, Brilliant Silver Metallic, and Sterling Grey Metallic); the paint is perfectly color-matched and free of drips and other minor defects often associated with smaller body shop paint jobs.

The new rear valance has a suggested retail of $175.00 (part number 42009) and is a one-piece design which improves the fit and finish; the part is injection-molded by ROUSH® Manufacturing in an OEM-level TPO plastic which, in the black color with decorative grain, will help reduce rock chips. Already many dealerships are utilizing this ROUSH® component to add some aggressive styling to the rear of the 2010 Ford Mustang GT.

If i were to purchase the roushcharger kit does it have to be installed by a ford dealer or can I do it myself and still be covered by my factory warranty?

It has been done in the past by retail customers, however we recommend a Ford or ASE certified Tech. If you encountered any type of issue, which is rare, before or after installation, we could work quickly with the installer to correct it.

I will say we have the most comprehensive installation manuals for the supercharger kits with step by step diagrams with everything needed for installation.

    Thanks,

    Evan

I'm caught between the TVS R2300 and the Kenne Bell 2.6L...

Is there ever going to be a price drop on the R2300? That might seal the deal for me. :)
