Lowering spring 'settlement'. how long does it take?

specificially, H&R SS springs. after the install, about how long does it take for these to settle? a day, a week, ?

even if these are used with urethane isolators, the spring itself will compress a little more over time right?

will the springs settle just by sitting or is it best to put some miles on them?

im assuming (and hoping) the front may settle more than the rear.

how much extra drop should i expect after settling - 1/4'' or more?

I'd say about 2 weeks with a moderate amount of driving. Could be more, could be less. Depends on the amount of miles you put on in that time. I would wait at least 2-3 weeks to get an alignment.
